"It's not my problem" parenting tip #1

The beauty of this tip is how little effort it takes on your part. After the first one or two times, they get dressed on their own. This will probably not work for children under about 5.

"I've asked you twice to get dressed and you still haven't. I've placedyour pants, socks, and shoes in a plastic bag by the front door. When we leave, if you don't have them on, we can just grab the bag and you can get dressed in the car or at school."

I'm 44, and I STILL need someone to say that to me. I swear, I'd take the bag and get dressed on the way to work, if I had someone to drive me.
